It's time to Roll for Treasure! What is Roll for Treasure? It’s a monthly subscription of products for the biggest pen and paper RPG existing in the market, where instead of receiving a box filled with random stuff, you’ll get several elements that you can use in your campaign.
Q: I am wanting to do a YouTube unboxing and review of your product. When would be an acceptable release date for the video each month? I am not wanting to spoil the surprise for your current customers.Asked by Christopher B., January 2022
Hi
Our product is shipped between the 1st and the 4th of each month, but the arrival at the destination depends a little on the recipient country due to the distance it has to travel, i would aim between the 10th and 15th, as I said it depends on the destination.
Thanks
Q: How would I contact someone to change my shipping address after I ordered a box?Asked by Cody W., October 2020
Hello Cody
The boxes are shipped between 1-4 of each month, if the customer change the address before the shipping process, it will be shipped to the new address. In case the box returns to us, we can send the content of the box inside a new one, so two boxes in one, or resend with previous shipping payment.
Thank you
Roll for Treasure
Q: Does this box come withg a shirt or pens or anythingAsked by Ml S., July 2020
Hello
When we created Roll for Treasure, we decided to include content meant to be played. Usually brings an adventure with the maps and miniatures necessary for the adventure, pre-made NPCs with included illustrations, new magic objects, Backgrounds with suggestions for character stories or even ideas for possible adventures, stickers, dice sets, and usually some more offers to complement the box, the goal was to have inside a box what is needed to play the adventure included , from NPCs, dice, maps, miniatures, etc.
Q: Is this designed for a specific edition? D&D 3.5, 5th ed, Pathfinder, ect.Asked by Krystal F., September 2019
Hello Krystal
The adventure included each month, is made with DD 5th edition in mind, but it can easily be adapted to any other system.
One of my 3 minis showed up broken. The minis themselves were pretty low quality prints.
The dungeons are just created in the donjon free online dungeon generator. There is almost no story. No box text.
You get a couple of random tables.
You get a couple of maps made on Inkarnate.
Not great.
Thank you for your review, which deserved our full attention.
As you can understand, to include two A4 colored maps, two dungeon maps, along with the blank version on each side, several tables in paperboard cards to help create your own dungeons, three miniatures, a complete set of dice, and an adventure that connects everything, we have to try to reduce the price to the maximum to include the maximum objects for the subscribers. Unfortunately, although the boxes are properly protected, the post office may cause damage to the content.
Once again thank you for your review, we need it in order to improve in the future. Thanks
I bought this crate for my girlfriend on Christmas 2019 and I was delighted to know it came from our very own country! It arrived safely and we still use a lot of it to play and DM (in her case)! Great box!
Thanks a lot, I'm glad you liked it 😊👍
"The contents themselves are good. They make for decent adventures to fold into campaigns already running, or to play as one-shots. The set pieces included are really versatile for folding into almost any campaign to add to the worldspace as well.
The only complaint I would have is that the quality of the 3D prints can be fairly low sometimes. A decent portion of the reasoning behind that would be to keep prices low; but I do feel that some improved 3D printers could go a long way for the company. For that reason alone I give 4 stars, but otherwise it would deserve a 5 star rating."
The thought that went into the box was great. I like the background and details included in the settling. The room titles were great quality (though because they were shipped in a box that was too small they are bent). The miniatures were nice, need some sanding and clean up and one of them was broken (5 pieces. I own crazy glue so I'm just gonna fix it when I get a chance.)
The box was smaller than I expected it to be, and the miniatures were packaged in a zip lock bag with the die set (which is likely why it was broken).
The colour of the dice was nice and they are very light.
Overall I'm not sure it feels totally worth the price (but lots did come in so I can't complain), and I was disappointed to have the broken figure and damaged tile. But obvious thought went into preparing box.
"The inkeeper is at the door of a small stable attached to the tavern, nervous and holding a lamp, wondering what is making noise inside..."
"You arrive at a small cluster of houses by the roadside, the streets are abandoned, completely empty, something strange hangs in the air..."
"A halfling of careless and disoriented appearance, where his clothes have seen better days, you can not avoid being suspicious...”
